Hulu’s Face Match Makes Me Laff

Has anyone else tried this yet? So on Hulu, while you are watching a video, you have the option of turning on “Face Match.” What happens is if you hover over an actor’s face, a little pop-up appears giving you a few details about them. This is great for all those times you’re watching something and you go, “where have I seen this person before?!”

However, not sure why the people who chose the profile photos to accompany the information seem to hate them so much. Check out these samples from the show Bunheads (which you should totally be watching, btw):

I’m not sure if all the actors’ photos are as unflattering or if this is Hulu’s attempt at a sense of humor, but it does make me giggle. Hopefully not everyone gets this treatment.
